Mike and Judi Hollenbeck

Welcome to the beautiful Texas Hill Country and the home of Halo Golden Retrievers!  We are located sixty miles northwest of Austin, Texas.

We love, show, and occasionally breed Golden Retrievers for conformation and pampering. Golden Retrievers are a very special breed and we strive to preserve their outstanding qualities.  At Halo, it is our goal to achieve the very best in temperament, health, and structure.

We are active in conformation and pet therapy.  Our dogs are our kids and they live in our house as pets and companions. 

I try to stay current on all the issues, concerns, and joys of the Golden Retriever by serving as President of the Austin Golden Retriever Club 2 years, 2006 through 2008, Vice President from 2008-2010, and am currently a Board Member.  I also co-write the AGRC Members’ Report for the Golden Retriever Club of America News.

We are very proud grandparents of our sweet Meghan, who is now five years old.  She has grown up with Goldens and loves them with all her heart.  You'll meet her throughout this website.  Enjoy!
